Maglev – Magnetic Levitating Pen DIY Kit

Build a Floating Pen and Discover the Science of Magnetism!

The Be Cre8v Maglev Magnetic Levitating Pen DIY Kit is a hands-on science activity for children aged 8–12. Kids can assemble the pen and magnetic base, then observe how magnetic repulsion allows the pen to float above its base. The kit introduces children to magnetism, magnetic poles, and non-contact forces through a practical experiment.

What Makes It Special?

• Make a Pen Float: Assemble the magnetic base and pen to demonstrate magnetic levitation.
• Explore Magnetic Repulsion: Discover how like magnetic poles repel each other.
• Understand Force and Gravity: Observe how magnetic forces can oppose the downward pull of gravity.
• Build a Working Model: Follow the step-by-step STEM activity guide to assemble the levitating pen.
• No Batteries Required: Use magnetic forces to create the levitation effect without charging or electrical power.
• Discover Real-World Applications: Learn how magnetic levitation relates to technologies such as maglev trains.
• Designed for Ages 8–12: Explore physics concepts through a practical activity suitable for young learners.

A Practical Way to Learn Magnetism

The Be Cre8v Maglev Magnetic Levitating Pen kit turns an everyday object into a science demonstration. Children can assemble the model, observe magnetic forces in action, and develop a better understanding of the physics behind magnetic levitation.
